Standing at an extraordinary 2.3 metres, Sam Deguara was seemingly destined for basketball greatness - and he’s certainly living up to it! With a career that has seen him excel across the globe, Sam has most recently led Team Aces to victory at the prestigious Asian Tournament, earning them the title of world champions.

Throughout the competition, Sam delivered an incredible performance, scoring 45 points and grabbing 23 rebounds, which earned him the well-deserved title of MVP (Most Valuable Player).

Adding to the excitement, Sam had the chance to meet NBA champion Dwight Howard. The basketball legend is shown in a video jokingly asking Sam not to break the basketball rim when scoring before one of the games. True to form, the clip then cuts to Sam doing exactly that, effortlessly dunking and bringing down the rim!

Congratulations for the incredible performance Sam!
