Last weekend, the village of Kirkop unveiled its Christmas village to the public in Pjazza Zerniq. The centerpiece of the festive village was an extraordinary Christmas tree, which has now set a national record for being the largest tree made from recycled milk cartons!

Standing at an impressive 6 metres tall with a 3-metre diameter, the tree is constructed from a total of 2,890 milk cartons, making it a truly remarkable sight.

Congratulations to the Kirkop Local Council for achieving this record, with the support of students from Kirkop Primary School, who helped create the tree while learning about the importance of recycling.

Did you spot the unique tree over the weekend?
