Maltese athlete and runner, Jordan Gusman has just made himself and his country very proud after completely destroying the national record for the men’s marathon.

Clocking a time of 2hrs 13.13 he surpassed the record by 12 minutes at this year’s Bank of America, Chicago marathon.

Apart from achieving this massive record, Jordan finished the marathon in 19^th place overall out of 48,000 runners from all across the world.  

He also managed 6^th place in the 25-29 category and finished second overall from any European!
