‘I will never forget the experience of singing here’ - Béla Mavrák, tenor in André Rieu’s orchestra expresses his love for Malta!

André Rieu gave an impeccable show last Friday and Saturday at the Granaries. In fact, it is being reported that around 30,000 music devotees have attended his concert live in Malta.

Accompanying André Rieu was the famous Johann Strauss Orchestra and the Hungarian tenor Béla Mavrák, who took to social media to express his gratitude and love for the Maltese Islands.

‘Our time in Malta was short but sweet’, wrote the tenor on his Facebook page. ‘Thank you to the truly fantastic audience and all the kind people I met, I will never forget the experience of singing here’.

He also posted several selfies of himself all around Malta including Valletta and with a traditional feast décor.

‘What a joy to be in Malta, there are so many beautiful places to discover!’

Béla Mavrák started working with André Rieu in 2005 as one of the Platin Tenors. They have performed more than 600 times together in various locations all around the world, including Malta, and they have also appeared in several CD and DVD productions.
