A fitting tribute to all the furry friends that have passed

Losing a pet is never easy, and for the first time in Malta, local pet owners will soon have a dedicated space to mourn and reflect on the loss of their beloved four-legged friends.

According to Times of Malta, the new pet memorial will be located in Ta’ Qali, providing a peaceful spot where owners can leave a token in memory of their pets. While the space will not serve as a burial site or pet cemetery, it will offer a serene environment with benches, allowing owners to sit and quietly honour their pets. The memorial is set to open in the coming weeks, offering a meaningful space for reflection and remembrance.
