Hold onto your hats! Strong winds and a chilly low of 19°C real feel expected in Malta next week
The last week of summer will soon be upon us!

Francesca Vella

If you’re enjoying the fresher weather, the forecast from Maltese Islands Weather has some good news for you! The northwestern winds that have been cooling the islands over the recent days will persevere over the next week, at forces that will continue to be moderate to strong.

These winds will keep the temperatures comfortable during the day and even bordering on slightly chilly in the evenings, with the temperatures on Sunday and Monday evenings having a real feel of 19 degrees – time to bring out those cardigans!

These same winds will be keeping the rain away for now, but might also make certain beaches on the island, particularly those facing the northwest direction, such as the popular sandy Gnejna, Ghajn Tuffieha and Golden Bay dangerous to swim at, so make sure to check the Maltese Islands Weather site before going for a swim.

Are you enjoying the cooler weather?
