Here it is! The final weather forecast for Christmas Day in Malta and Gozo predicts windy, cold showers
Huddling on the sofa post-lunch sounds like a good plan!

Francesca Vella

Despite last night’s hailstorm in Gozo and the chilly conditions across the islands, today’s brief spells of sunshine offer some hope for those longing for warmer weather, suggesting that Christmas Day may not be as harsh as initially forecast.

Strong winds ranging between Force 6 and 7 will persist throughout today and tonight, making for a cold and frosty Christmas Eve. However, the winds are expected to ease tomorrow, gradually decreasing to Force 4 and 5 by Christmas Day.

While the wind may eventually calm, the cold will remain. Tomorrow’s maximum real feel temperature will only reach 11°C, and temperatures will dip to a brisk 7°C at night. If you plan to enjoy any outdoor activities after indulging in Christmas pudding, be sure to bundle up warmly!

Are you still dreaming of a White Christmas?
