Heads up! More stormy weather expected in Malta and Gozo for the start of next week
Raincoat season ahead!

Francesca Vella

It’s already been announced that the weekend is set to bring unsettled weather, with rain forecast to begin on Saturday. Maltese Islands Weather has now issued a forecast for next week, predicting more stormy conditions on Monday and Tuesday, marking the official end of the ‘second summer’ that Malta has been enjoying over the past few weeks.

Daytime temperatures are expected to drop, with highs of 23-24°C – a decrease of around 5°C compared to recent days. Nighttime temperatures will also dip, falling from an average low of 21°C to 18°C, so it might be time to pull out your cardigans!

There’s a chance of rain each day from Saturday to Tuesday, with Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday expecting rainfall between 12mm and 25mm. Winds will also pick up on Monday and Tuesday, with gusts reaching force 4-5. It might be a good idea to plan some indoor activities for the coming week, as the weather takes a turn.

How are you planning on spending the upcoming rainy days?
