Good news for commuters and travellers: the Valletta–Gozo Fast Ferry is planning to resume operations tomorrow, Tuesday 27th January, following a temporary suspension caused by strong winds and rough seas.

The first departure from Valletta is scheduled for 14:45, with the first return trip from Mġarr at 15:45. After that, services are expected to run according to the regular schedule, weather permitting.

In the meantime, Gozo Channel has advised passengers to expect delays, as ferry crossings are currently being routed via Comino due to ongoing rough sea conditions.

Travellers are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra time for crossings, and keep an eye on official updates as weather conditions continue to evolve – particularly later this week when the winds are expected to pick up again.
