WATCH: Floriana hotel chucks huge bags of ice into the pool to beat the heat in Malta
A recent reel uploaded to Instagram by the travel vlogging couple account, @kotravellers, shows what local Maltese hotels are doing to beat the heat.
Temperatures in Malta have been soaring to an all time high which is why ‘The Phonecia Malta’ started chucking bags of ice into their infinity pool to make their pool cooler.
In fact, the hotel staff chucked a total of 24 huge bags in order for the guests to enjoy their swim.
Chances are that if you have dipped in a pool or the sea in the hopes of cooling down during these past few days, it was still not enough to cool you down.
Therefore, it comes as no surprise that the country started resorting to such measures in order to cool down and enjoy a more refreshing swim.
