Good luck! Maltese football starlet joins Italian club Sampdoria for U-19 season
Kaysia Micallef is making waves at only 17 years old!

Maltese football prodigy Kaysia Micallef has taken a significant step in her career, signing a one-year contract with Italian club Sampdoria. The 17-year-old, who has made a name for herself as one of Malta's most promising young talents, will continue her development with Sampdoria's U-19 team.

Kaysia Micallef's impressive performances last season earned her the Assikura Women's Youth League Player of the Year award. She was also instrumental in helping Swieqi United’s senior team to secure second place in the national championship during the 2023/2024 season.

Additionally, she has represented Malta at the youth international level, showcasing her skills on a broader stage.

Kaysia Micallef will join Sampdoria's U-19 team, which is set to kick off their season on the 15th of September against Hellas Verona.

As she embarks on this new chapter, the young footballer carries with her the support and hopes of Maltese football fans, eager to see her shine in Italy.
