Golden glory! Maltese athlete, Kai Azzopardi shines bright at the European Multisport Championships in Ciombra

Kai Azzopardi, representing Malta at the Europe Triathlon multi-sport Championships in Coimbra, Portugal, emerged as a standout performer with impressive achievements across multiple events.

In the duathlon competition, Kai showcased his skill, securing a remarkable 2nd place finish. Additionally, he dominated the aquathlon event in the under-20s category, claiming the top spot with a display of athleticism and determination.

Among a competitive field of 360 athletes from across Europe, Kai's stellar performances earned him a notable overall ranking within the top 15. Proudly carrying the Maltese flag, Kai received accolades and recognition for his exceptional accomplishments on the international stage.

Kai's dedication and talent have undoubtedly brought honour to his country, setting a high standard for future competitions.

Well done, Kai for making Malta proud!
