Just on the doorstep of a new scholastic year, the first-ever carbon neutral school in Malta has been unveiled in Msida, and will be welcoming primary students at the end of this month.
The school is setting new environmental standards when it comes to educational facilities in Malta, scoring A+ on the energy classification chart, the highest rating possible.

The project also features a new complex for the Msida Sea Scouts and a two-level underground car park with space for around 180 cars. Environmentally friendly measures include wall and roof insulation for temperature control, as well as a rainwater recycling system for irrigation and sanitary use.
