Beatrice Njoya was crowned Miss Universe Malta 2024 earlier this year and is now embarking on her journey to represent Malta at the 73rd Miss Universe competition in Mexico City.

This year's pageant sets a new record with 130 countries participating in the renowned beauty competition. The preliminary show will take place on November 14, while the Grand Finale will be broadcast worldwide on November 16.

At 40 years old and a mother of three, Beatrice is the eldest contestant in this year's Miss Universe lineup. Among the 13 mothers competing, she exemplifies the recent changes in the pageant, which now allows mothers and married women to participate, making Miss Universe one of the most inclusive international beauty competitions.

Through her platform, Beatrice is advocating against domestic violence and raising awareness about mental health, while also serving as an ambassador for a suicide prevention helpline.

Best of luck to Beatrice!
