KM Malta Airlines has earned two prestigious titles in the ch-aviation Youngest Aircraft Fleet Awards 2025: Youngest Aircraft Fleet in Europe and 2nd Youngest Aircraft Fleet in the World.

These accolades, awarded after an in-depth analysis by ch-aviation, honour airlines that focus on modernising their fleets and enhancing operational efficiency.

With an average aircraft age of just 3.36 years, KM Malta Airlines operates a state-of-the-art fleet of eight Airbus A320-200NEO aircraft - a clear reflection of the airline’s dedication to sustainable aviation and cutting-edge technology.

David Curmi, Executive Chairman of KM Malta Airlines, celebrated the achievement, saying, 'This recognition highlights our strong commitment to innovation, efficiency, and sustainability. A modern fleet not only improves the passenger experience but also plays a vital role in reducing CO2 emissions, supporting our mission for eco-friendly air travel.'

Thomas Jaeger, Founder and CEO of ch-aviation, also applauded the airline’s efforts, 'KM Malta Airlines stands out for its investment in a young A320-200N fleet. This dedication to modernisation reinforces its leadership in environmental responsibility within the aviation industry. We congratulate them on this well-earned success.'

These awards cement KM Malta Airlines' position as a leader in sustainable air travel, demonstrating how fleet innovation can enhance both passenger experience and environmental impact.
