Freezing rain and snow hit Munich Airport! Flights between Malta and Munich cancelled
The inclement weather was deemed to unsafe for flights to land or take off!

Malta’s national airline, Air Malta have just announced that due to to freezing rain and snow at Munich Airport, they have cancelled flights between Malta International Airport and Munich Airport.

These flights are:

KM306 Malta to Munich departing 09:05am

KM307 Munich to Malta departing 12:25pm

The airline has announced that they have transferred affected passengers onto their same-day available flights in the hopes the weather will be better by then. Passengers can now opt to leave on the KM308 flight from Malta to Munich (3:40pm) and the KM309 flight from Munich to Malta (6:55pm).

Nonetheless, Air Malta has issued a statement expressing that they “understand that some passengers may prefer to rebook their travel on an alternative flight”. In this case, “Passengers are advised to contact the Air Malta Customer Service Centre at 00356 21662211 for alternative flight options”. The Customer Service Centre is available from Monday to Friday, 8am – 8pm CET, and on Saturday and Sunday, 8am – 6pm CET.

Those who wish to receive a full ticket refund are requested to send an email to [email protected]. Those passengers who have booked their flights through a travel agent are advised to contact their respective agent, who can submit a refund request on their behalf.
