Malta’s national team have just made history after they secured their second consecutive win at the UEFA Women's Nations League during yesterday’s game against Moldova.

This was the first time the team managed to win two games after each other at this renowned tournament.

Haley Bugeja made waves after scoring not only one but two goals against Moldova during the game, leading to a 2-0 win for Malta.

They first beat Latvia, 1-0 on the 22nd September and will now be facing Andorra on Friday, 27th October.

“The celebration was special, and we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the amazing supporters who stood by us through the torrential rain! Your unwavering dedication is our greatest strength”, the Malta Football Association wrote on their social media.

Congratulations on the incredible win!
