Chef patron of Beppe’s Restaurant in Sannat Gozo, Joseph Spiteri, has announced on social media his departure from the restaurant, which he opened back in 2010.

Located within the Quaint Boutique Hotel in Sannat, Beppe’s Restaurant is particularly known for its delicious steaks, and boasts its title as the only restaurant in Gozo that offers an open kitchen concept and a steak display with different cuts of fresh meats.

Having worked in the industry for the past 30 years, Joseph Spiteri has gained a recognised name in the industry after opening 'Il-Menqa' in Marsalforn and later, Beppe's Restaurant in Sannat. He claims to leave the latter with a heavy heart, thanking the rest of the team at the restaurant and expressing that he would 'carry with [him] the cherished memories [they] created together'.

He went on to express his heartfelt appreciation towards the customers for their loyalty towards the restaurant for his fourteen years there as chef.

The restaurateur has also announced that he will be transferring the responsibility of the restaurant to another capable culinary artist, behind whom he is 'confident that the dedicated team will continue to serve [customers] with the same passion, excellence and warm hospitality that [they] have come to know.'

Regular customers can look forward to more news on how Beppe’s Restaurant will be developed in the near future, as Joseph Spiteri invites them to 'continue supporting the wonderful journey of this establishment'.
