Unwritten Rules is a thought-provoking exhibition by artist Ebru Çınar Erdoğan, exploring the invisible societal expectations that shape women’s lives. Using embroidery as a medium of resistance, Erdoğan reflects on the concept of Elalem – “what people will say” – and challenges the inherited rules that limit women’s autonomy, identity, and freedom. The exhibition invites visitors to reflect on gender, tradition, and the possibility of a future defined by choice and self-expression.
