Heritage Malta is hosting a weekend of exploration at Fort Delimara on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th March. Located at Delimara Point, this Victorian fortress was once a key part of the coastal defenses for Marsaxlokk Harbour.
Between 9:00am and 4:00pm, visitors can join hourly guided tours in Maltese or English to see the parade ground, barracks, and underground tunnels. The site features rare 38-ton guns, the last of their kind globally still on their original carriages. The event highlights the fort's military journey from the Victorian era to World War II, alongside a look at current restoration projects. Tickets are available through pre-booking online or at Heritage Malta sites.
