As always the event plans to have a highly cultural and entertaining concept, by presenting a myriad of professional musicians performing daily, whilst offering a vast selection of over 30 certified D.O.K. and I.Ġ.T. quality wines from grapes grown around Malta and Gozo. All of these wines can be enjoyed by visiting the different wine bars, carefully spread around Hastings Gardens.
Due to the popularity of the event an entrance fee for all those attending is being introduced which will enable Marsovin to better control the amount of people present which will positively enhance the overall event experience.
A fusion of good wine, food & music
We shall be including a dedicated Wine Educational Area, which will offer fun and interactive ways to learn about wine. It will feature a blind tasting of a selection of wines, followed by a detailed explanation of each one, and the opportunity to walk away with a prize. Kindly email [email protected] to book your place.
The food element cannot be left unmentioned as good wine and good food go hand in hand, for this reason we engage a variety of quality caterers each offering different kinds of Mediterranean dishes to complement best our wines.
The artists in this year’s line-up include Malta & Gozo’s leading bands: Red Electrick & The Travellers, two of the most successful bands to have emerged locally in recent years; Vinyl Paradise, a cutting edge blues band; Swing Nuages, a fun-loving gypsy swing and manouche jazz band; Relikc , specializing in creating the perfect blend of funk, soul and rock, and Analise Cassar & Band who will be singing along to some popular tunes.
How does it work?
Upon entrance a fee of €20 per person must be paid, this fee includes wine tokens and a Premium festival wine glass to use during the event and also to take home. Wine tokens can be exchanged at all wine bars in the form of a taster, by the glass or by the bottle. Entry tickets will be available for purchase in advance starting from Friday 22nd June from The Master Cellar in Naxxar and Marsovin Cellars in Paola.
