GRIM REAPER FESTIVAL returns in 2026 to mark its 25th anniversary with a powerful one-day celebration of Maltese heavy metal culture. Founded in 2001 by Nick Grima to unite local bands and strengthen Malta’s alternative music scene, the festival continues its legacy with an expanded line-up of 11 homegrown acts, delivering a full day of relentless live music from afternoon until late, followed by an extended afterparty with a special guest.
Taking place on Monday 9th February 2026 at Tigullio in St. Julian’s, doors open at noon and the first band hits the stage at 14:00. With limited tickets available online and a commemorative anniversary T-shirt on pre-order, this +17 event promises an unmissable milestone edition for metal fans and is proudly part of the Malta Metal Alliance 2026.
