In this year's Folk Festival twelve international folkloric groups coming from Bulgaria, Lithuania, Serbia, Macedonia, Greece, Cyprus, Slovakia, Latvia and Estonia will be taking part alongside Maltese groups. The Folklore groups will give a small performance at the Great Siege Square in Valletta. A parade and show will be compered by Debbie Scerri. On Friday 27th Setpember, a parade by all folklore groups starting from Triton Square will take place at 18:30 hrs followed by a concert at St George's Square. On the following day a concert will be held at Buġibba Square, at 19:30 hrs. The festival will end on Sunday, 29th September, at 18:30 hrs with a parade along the streets of Valletta.
