The programme for the evening features a bonanza of works by Maltese composers including Paul Nani's Overture in E minor, Carmelo Pace's Suite Melitensis, Charles Camilleri's Knights of Malta Suite and Joseph Vella's iconic Rebbieha with its lively folk-inspired melodies and rhythmic energy.
Complementing this midsummer eve, Grieg's timeless Peer Gynt Suite transports the audience to the mystical world of Henrik Ibsen's play – brought to life through music. From the evocative "Morning Mood" to the energetic "In the Hall of the Mountain King," this suite features some of Grieg's most recognizable and emotionally captivating melodies.
