Glen studied theory & composition obtaining an A-level and later on shifting to Jazz guitar studying with prominent teachers including Massimo de Majo, Clint Campisi and Alan Portelli. He furthered his studies in Jazz guitar in Siena, Italy where he completed two seminars and a pre-academic year, winning a scholarship for the 2nd seminar. Returning from Siena, he formed a guitar trio, focusing on writing music and leading. In 2017, he took part in an intercultural residency in France led by Fabrizio Cassol where his interest in Middle-Eastern music and Mediterranean music developed and was part of the two editions of the Mediterranean Dimensions project (by ARC research & consultancy) which explored Mediterranean music in a smaller setup. He is now self-studying, performing and teaching in Malta.
