Do you like to cook with your loved one or just want to spend a romantic evening doing something different? Why not join us for an evening filled with food, fun and wine?
For this special evening we have decided to change our usual cooking sessions for couples wishing to learn new recipes together. Each couple will be cooking together to create a luxurious and romantic dinner for two under the guidance of our chef instructors. Together you will first be shown how to make the silkiest, hand made pasta stuffed with a smoked pulled pork filling and served with a local fennel beurre blanc and an aged parmeggiano crisp.
As a dessert each couple will bake a luxurious almond & strawberry Bakewell tart with the guidance of the chef instructors and while the tart is baking in the oven each couple will get to sit down and enjoy the fruits of their labour along with a paired wine to go along with each dish the couples have prepared.
During the session you’ll learn how to:
* Use your knife skills for a variety of chopping techniques
* Make pasta by hand from scratch
* Compose a beautifully emulsified sauce flavoured with fennel
* Construct a Bakewell tart and balance out its richness
* Create a crisp from aged parmeggiano to give you pasta texture
* Enjoy a romantic evening cooking as a couple
* Learn to work as a team to make home dinners more exciting
Regardless of what we’re cooking, you don’t have to worry about a thing as we’ll provide all the recipes, tools and ingredients you need for the session. All we ask is that you turn up on time so we can all get started together! Towards the end. Just sit down with a glass of wine and let us handle the rest.
