CLOSER follows the story of Dan, Alice, Anna and Larry, exploring the modern concept of love and, as the characters’ four lives intertwine, how they struggle to find intimacy but can’t seem to get closer.
Directed by anthony bezzina, Closer stars some of Malta’s best performance talent including Mikhail Basmadjian, Jean-Marc Cafa, Nadia Vella and Alexandra Camilleri Warne, this unique production will be performed at the intimate theatre Blue Box – M Space in Msida.
Winning both the LAURENCE OLIVIER AWARD for Best New Play and the EVENING STANDARD Best Comedy Award, Closer by Patrick Marber has enjoyed international success, having been translated into thirty languages and adapted for the big screen.
