Two years after his exhibition at MUŻA, Maltese artist Chris Ebejer presents Echoes of Now, a new exhibition set within the Baroque Oratory of the Immaculate at the Jesuit Church.
Opening shortly after the Oratory’s recent restoration, the exhibition creates a dialogue between Ebejer’s expressive figurative sculptures and one of Malta’s most significant sacred spaces. Rooted in classical tradition yet distinctly contemporary, his work explores themes of human emotion, identity, and spirituality through materials such as bronze, marble, and terracotta.
The project includes a collaboration with art historian Paolo Giansiracusa, and is supported by the Jesuit Church Foundation.
