Giola Cassar’s A Place That Fades, curated by Elyse Tonna, explores the disappearance of urban domestic gardens and the wider cultural, psychological and ecological impact of their loss. Through a process-driven approach, the exhibition reflects on the slow erasure of these spaces, questioning what remains when sites of refuge and multispecies cohabitation are lost to urbanisation and privatisation.
