Renowned Gozitan photographer Daniel Cilia presents an illustrated talk at Il-Ħaġar Museum on Saturday, 8th November at 11am, reflecting on the life and legacy of Dr David H. Trump (1931–2016) — the British archaeologist who dedicated over sixty years to uncovering Malta and Gozo’s prehistoric past. From his early work at Ġgantija, to his excavations at Skorba and the Xagħra Circle, David profoundly shaped our understanding of the islands’ ancient heritage. Drawing on years of friendship and collaboration, Daniel Cilia offers a deeply personal perspective on the man behind the discoveries — his passion, humour, and enduring bond with Gozo’s timeless landscape.
