Don’t forget! This is Malta’s LAST week of Daylight Saving Time for 2023
Winter’s getting closer and closer…

Lyndsey Grima

As we mark the first month of autumn 2023, here’s a gentle reminder that we’re only seven days away from turning our clocks back an hour…

That’s right! Daylight Saving Time will be ending today week, i.e. Sunday 29th October. This means that at 3am on the day, clocks will be turning back an hour, to 2am.

On the day, sunrise and sunset will be taking place an hour earlier than the day before, leading to more light in the morning.

Of course, this also means that it will be getting dark much earlier.

This event, also referred to as ‘Winter Time’, will persist up until 26th March 2024, when Daylight Saving Time re-starts and our clocks are shifted forward by an hour once again.

22nd October 2023
