Disappointing news! Christmas in the Park at Salini suspended due to bad weather
The adverse conditions are sadly affecting festivities all over the islands

Francesca Vella

The ongoing storm and strong ‘grigal’ winds have caused disruptions across the islands, including the suspension of ferry services and the cancellation of events. Unfortunately, Christmas in the Park, a popular event held at Salina Park between Naxxar and St Paul’s Bay, has been suspended for today due to safety concerns stemming from the bad weather.

The event, which involved several outdoor activities including live music, a nativity scene, and a Christmas market, is impacted by the harsh conditions. At this time, no plans to reopen the event on a later date have been announced, so it’s recommended to keep an eye on the event's social media pages for further updates.

Did the stormy weather cause any of your plans to be cancelled?
