The comedic film series has been a massive hit throughout the past decades.
The Johnny English comedy film spy series, starring Rowan Atkinson is one loved by many all around the globe, Malta included.
So far, there have been three films in total that went out in the successful series but could there possibly be a fourth one with ties to none other than Malta coming soon?
According to cinema website ‘The Cinemaholic’, a fourth Johnny English film is currently in the works and is set to be filmed in England and Malta. If reports are correct, Rowan Atkinson will be returning in the titular role of Johnny English while shooting here in Malta.
This fourth installation is quite the surprise as back in 2018, Rowan had hinted that it is unlikely the series will return.
“I doubt it but thank you very much for implying you’d like to see another one. But at the same time… never say never”, Rowan replied when he was asked this almost six years ago.
But, who knows? We could soon be seeing Johnny English going round Malta!
