Hannelie Van Wyk, a model representing Malta has won the prestigious title of Mrs European Nations while in Athens, Greece.

The esteemed title was won within the Mrs Globe Group.

This competition is specifically dedicated to married or single mothers as opposed to the typical world pageants where you have to be single and childless.

Hannelie Van Wyk winning this competition was a historic feat for Malta as this was the first time in three decades that Malta came out victorious at the Mrs Globe Group of pageants.

For the part of competition highlighting the participants culture, Hannelie proudly wore a stunning gown designed by Herman Vassallo,  highlighting the beauty of the traditional Maltese grandfather clock.

She is now set to continue her journey by participating in the upcoming Mrs Globe in California.

Ukraine and Russia came in second and third place at this esteemed competition.
