The past few days have marked a cold start to the new year right here in the Maltese Islands. However, that cold weather does not seem like it is going anywhere but is instead here to stay and getting even worse.

Local weather page ‘Maltese Islands Weather’ is predicting that the temperature on Saturday, 13th January will have a real feel as low as 4°C.

These kind of low temperatures are expected throughout the rest of the week, but Saturday is forecasted to be the coldest.

Not only are low temperatures predicted but ‘Maltese Islands Weather’ is also reporting thunderstorms for Friday, 12th December.

The wind however will not remain as strong as it has been during the past few days. Nonetheless, the wind force is set to reach Force five to six between Saturday, 13th January and Sunday, 14th January.
