Entrance is free of charge.

For its fourth year, the little Gozo village known as Fontana is organising its annual wine festival!

The festival, which is being held on Friday, September 22nd will offer its visitors more than 20 different wines to try, all of which were cultivated locally by Gozo’s own farmers.

Attendees will get the chance to drink the night away with wine from Fontana's very own winery, Bacchus Winery, Delicata Wine Maker Ltd and Marsovin Winery. The vast selection includes red, white, rose, sweet and sparkling wines!

Apart from the endless selections of different wines, one of Malta’s favourite musical acts, ‘The Travellers’ will also be joining in on the fun. A concert from this Gozitan band is not to be missed.

Additionally, Jolene Samhan & Band and DJ Joshua are set to continue entertaining the festival’s visitors while they sip the delicious wine.

The festival will be held in the villages most picturesque area, Pjazza Ghejun. Here, one can come across the only two freshwater spring wash houses in Gozo, Ghajn ta' Bendu and l-Ghajn il-Kbira, making such an event that much more worth attending.

Entrance is free of charge but those who wish to drink the wine, will be asked to buy a wine glass from the event. They can keep the souvenir glass and use it to taste all the amazing wines offered at the festival.
