Changing skies! No rain in Malta for Victory Day, but storms expected next week
Maltese Islands Weather warns humidity over the weekend will be ‘very uncomfortable and oppressive’

Feast goers and organisers can rest assured that Victory Day and the Nativity of Our Lady celebrations are likely to continue as planned, as according to Maltese Islands Weather, no rain is forecast for the coming weekend.

Make sure to keep hydrated though, because the humidity currently looming over the islands is bound to persist, peaking during the weekend evenings at a whopping 100%, Maltese Islands Weather advises to ‘expect these days to be very uncomfortable and oppressive’.

However, next week should bring some change to the weather over the islands. The page ‘Aggornament tat-Temp’ has posted a forecast stating that north westerly winds starting next week will bring the stormy weather towards Malta, with chances of storms from Tuesday. However, this is all dependent on wind changes, and will be confirmed closer to the end of the week.

Relieved that Victory Day celebrations will go on without storms?
