Catch it in Valletta next weekend!

With less than a week to go until Carnival officially begins, the excitement is already in full swing! The Hamrun Parade, held yesterday, set the stage for the celebrations, bringing with it a record-breaking moment for Malta’s beloved tradition.

The Lion Hearts Carnival Company wowed the crowds with a massive Carnival float dedicated to the famous monster-hunting team from the classic cartoon, Scooby-Doo. Measuring an incredible 35 feet long, 20 feet wide, and 38 feet high, this spectacular float officially broke the national record for the largest hydraulically operated float in Section D of the Maltese Carnival!

The Lion Hearts team expressed their gratitude to everyone who helped bring the float to life, including the dancers who added to the parade’s magic. They also announced that this record-breaking masterpiece will be on display in Valletta next weekend - so if you want to witness it up close, don’t miss the chance!

Did you catch a glimpse of the stunning float?
