Calamari on the go! This new food truck is bringing fried fish to all four corners of Malta
With its short, no-frills menu, Kalama’ likes to keep things simple but delicious.

With the ongoing surge in Malta’s food truck population, it was only a matter of time before a brave soul attempted to satisfy the country’s insatiable hunger for fresh, fried fish on-the-go.

The new, strikingly yellow Kalama’ seeks to do just that.

Opening its doors last June, this Italian-owned food truck prides itself in offering hungry customers the freshest fried fish on the island – and it already seems like people are loving it.

With its short, no-frills menu, Kalama’ likes to keep things simple but delicious.

The food truck’s patrons get to choose from five different menu items – including but not limited to fried calamari, neonati balls, and octopus salad – as well as a range of ever-changing specials.

In classic Italian fashion, Kalama’ promises to make all of its food in-house – even its sauces – so you can rest assured that quality is a guarantee.

Craving some calamari?

At the moment, Kalama’ has set up camp on Triq ix-Xatt, Sliema, but make sure to keep an eye on the food truck’s Facebook page, as you never know when it might move to its next location!
