Brrr! Malta to experience a drop in temperatures with a real feel of 5°C by early next week
Now that’s a twist!

What does the weather have in store for us for the first week of January? Popular Facebook weather page, Maltese Islands Weather, has issued its weekly weather report and it looks like we’re in for several weather changes.

For the next two days, on the 4th and 5th of January, the temperature is predicted to rise to 20°C, which is incredibly high for January, especially when compared to the cold spells that other European countries are currently experiencing.

However, sunny days will quickly disappear towards the end of the week with the weekend looking dreary as ever. In fact, from the 6th of January until the 9th of January, expect nothing but rainy and cloudy weather to hit the Maltese Islands.

The wind is set to pick up as of Saturday 6th January, bringing with it new temperature lows. From Force 5 to 6 winds, the weather is set to deteriorate to Force 8 to 9 with the minimum real feel temperature expected to go down to 5°C by early next week.

Now that’s what is called typical January weather!
