Brighter days! Sunny weather conditions expected for Valentine’s Day and most of this week for Malta & Gozo
This comes after a stormy Sunday!

After yesterday’s hailstorm, which turned out to be quite heavy in some localities, Maltese residents and tourists can breathe a sigh of relief as a much-needed change in weather patterns is on the horizon.

This shift will start from Valentine’s Day and continue towards the rest of the week, thanks to the eastward expansion of an anticyclone from Spain.

In the coming days, a series of meteorological adjustments will bring about noticeable changes. Today, Monday 12th of February, we can expect some isolated showers and a chilly atmosphere that is similar to what the weekend brought about. Tuesday 13th February will also commence with isolated showers in the early morning hours.

However, the skies will be brightening up on Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th as sunshine is set to dominate, offering a reprieve from gloomy skies.

Friday 16th February will kickstart the weekend with partly cloudy conditions making way for a cloudy weekend.

Temperature-wise, this week will see a gradual rise from 16°C to 18°C towards the week's end, followed by a slight decrease for the weekend. The minimum temperature will vary between 8°C and 12°C, with lesser impact from the wind.

With this weather forecast in mind, you can prepare to enjoy more favourable conditions and perhaps even embrace the romantic atmosphere of Valentine's Day under clearer skies!

Do you have any plans for Valentine’s Day this year?
