Will you be checking it out?

Most of Mellieha’s residents will be out this weekend celebrating with their fellow villagers at the annual ‘Illjieli Mellehin’ festival.

The weekend-long event, taking place between the 29th and 31st July will see many different activities for all the family, one of them being the luzzu staircase mural painting.

The mural is being done by two very talented local artists by the name of Lewis Zammit and Pierre Zammit.

This piece of art is not quite done yet, but the two creative artists will continue working on it throughout the weekend as you can join watch them live.

The mural can be found on the staircase between the Commando Restaurant and The Villager.

Well done Pierre and Lewis!
