Back from Copenhagen! Chef Letizia returns to Malta after two weeks staging at Michelin-starred Alchemist
After two weeks staging at Alchemist in Copenhagen, Malta’s very own Chef Letizia is back in the kitchen tomorrow, bringing with her fresh inspiration from one of the most boundary-pushing restaurants in the world.
Alchemist, a two-Michelin-starred dining destination led by acclaimed Chef Rasmus Munk, is an immersive, multi-sensory experience where each course tells a story and every detail is designed to challenge perceptions.
Reflecting on her time there, Chef Letizia described it as ‘unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Every bite told a story, every moment challenged perception. A two Michelin star performance that fed the mind as much as the palate.’
She went on to add: ‘Two unforgettable weeks at Alchemist. So grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow alongside some of the most passionate, creative, and driven chefs I’ve ever met. Huge thank you to the entire team for welcoming me with open arms – your energy is unmatched. And Chef Rasmus… what a legend. Unbelievably friendly, outgoing, down-to-earth, and truly inspiring. Honoured to have shared this space with you all.’
The Chef Rasmus she refers to is none other than Rasmus Munk, the culinary visionary named Best Chef at the 2024 Best Chef Awards in Dubai and widely hailed as one of the most innovative chefs in the world.
With new skills, ideas, and plenty of inspiration in tow, Chef Letizia’s return to The Golden Fork in Rabat will undoubtedly bring a fresh spark to her own kitchen creations right here in Malta.
Welcome back Chef Letizia!
