Autumn, where are you? High levels of humidity set to persist until the start of November in Malta
The current weather is driven by an East-Southeast wind.

Despite it being late October, autumn in Malta is nowhere to be seen, with temperatures stubbornly staying in the high 20s and feeling much higher.

According to The Maltese Islands Weather, the island is experiencing unseasonably warm conditions, which are made more uncomfortable by persistent high humidity. Though the calendar says autumn, it still feels like summer on the island, especially as temperatures continue to hover around 25°C during the day, feeling even hotter due to the humidity.

The current weather is driven by an East-Southeast wind that is expected to persist until at least the 1st of November.

This wind pattern, coupled with the high humidity, is trapping heat, creating conditions that feel more like mid-summer than fall. The warm and muggy atmosphere is likely to continue for the foreseeable future, offering little relief from the heat and stickiness.

While tourists may be enjoying the extended summer, many are left wondering when autumn will finally make its appearance.

Until then, it seems that Malta is set to remain in a warm, humid bubble and it looks like we’re not getting out our coats anytime soon!

Are you liking this warm weather in October?
