Malta International Airport has just announced that multiple airlines are currently experiencing network disruptions, affecting numerous airports, resulting in flight delays worldwide as well as in Malta.

An issue with Microsoft services has paralysed many airlines and banks that rely on the software, leading to grounded flights and delays. This issue is causing chaos across the globe, affecting various entities, such as banks, hospitals and media outlets.

The airport has also announced they are working diligently to manage the situation with minimal disruption.

Travellers are encouraged to review their flight schedule on the Malta Airport site.
