An unexpected return! Maltese ginger cat reunited with owners after six months on the streets
Some good news to brighten up your Tuesdays.

An orange house cat who was missing for the past six months has just been found and returned to her very happy owners!

Eve went missing around mid-January of this year near the Misrah Kola area but her owners had seemed to have lost hope when weeks were passing by and she still did not turn up.

They assumed the worst and thought that they will never see her again.

But Eve persisted and somehow turned up in Sta Lucia a couple weeks ago, where a local stray cat feeder noticed her.

She took her to vet for neutering, but it was discovered that the cat was already neutered but they thought she was left there on purpose. Eve was then taken to the Carers for Stray and Abandoned Felines as she was too friendly to leave on the street on her own.

Here, it was discovered that Eve was actually microchipped and her owners were soon traced.

After a six-month adventure, Eve’s health had taken a toll on her. She lost quite a lot of weight but she’s now thankfully recovering with her owners.
