All of Malta and Gozo’s beaches marked safe to swim in today but will get extremely rough tomorrow
From one extreme to another in the matter of 24 hours.

Today, Friday, 4th August, all of Malta and Gozo’s gorgeous beaches are completely safe to swim in as they are all free from jellyfish and not currently experiencing any rough currents.

However, this is expected to change as the sea currents will get extremely strong in the next 24 hours. But for now, you can enjoy a refreshing afternoon dip!

From tomorrow, Saturday, 5th August till Monday, 7th August, the winds are expected to get super strong and even reach up to Force seven and eight at times.

This means that a good majority of Malta’s favourite beaches will be completely unsafe for swimming in the coming three days.

Make sure to keep yourself updated on all of Malta’s safe and unsafe beaches through here.
