This remarkable event marks the 100th anniversary of excavations at the Ta’ Ħaġrat Megalithic Site, and it promises to be an enlightening journey through time.
Happening on the 4th of November, this Curator's Tour will commence at the Ta’ Ħaġrat Megalithic Site in Mġarr, where visitors will gather at 9:00am. From this historical starting point, the tour will commence on a captivating exploration of not one but two World Heritage Sites, with Skorba Prehistoric Complex as the next destination.
Skorba is conveniently located just a short drive (5 minutes) or a pleasant walk (15 minutes) away, offering visitors a choice in how they wish to reach the second site.
The tour will delve into the enthralling history of the excavations at both Ta’ Ħaġrat and Skorba, shedding light on the lives and cultures of the Neolithic people who once thrived there.
