A sweet dose of nostalgia! Old photo shows Gozo’s Ta’ Saminu bakery from decades ago
The bakery is a Gozitan staple.

A photo posted by Ta’ Saminu bakery themselves shows exactly what the façade of their Gozitan bakery looked like decades ago.

The Xewkija bakery is known for their galletti, their delicious baked goods, pastries, ftajjar, qassatat, pastizzi and their many Maltese traditional Maltese and Gozitan dishes.

Having been there for decades, the bakery is still selling a lot of the similar products it used to back then and tourists and locals alike all absolutely love it.

The façade might have changed a bit from when that photo was taken but the sign on top remains exactly the same. Some things are just not worth changing!
