Valentine's Day is soon approaching so why don’t you surprise your loved one on the most romantic day of the year with a delightful night out at one of Malta's enchanting restaurants?

From Michelin Guide restaurants to Indian cuisine, romantic wine bars and so much more, these establishments are sure to create cherished memories for any couple on this special romantic night.

1. Fernandõ Gastrotheque, Sliema

Starting off strong Fernandõ Gastrotheque, this restaurant has earned a star by the Michelin Guide and offers an exquisite menu of Mediterranean dishes as well as Malta’s largest wine selection.

2. Hammett’s (Hammett’s Monastik – Sliema, Hammett's Mestizo - St Julian’s)

These two different restaurants are the fruition of the same chef and restauranteur, Chris Hammett and Sven von der Heyden. Both establishments will offer you a romantic night to remember. 3. Shakinah, Msida

4. Caviar & Bull, St Julian’s

6. Country Terrace, Ghajnsielem Gozo

If you’re in Gozo this Valentine’s Day, Country Terrace will welcome you with stunning views of the Mgarr Harbour. The dishes you order will have top-quality produce prepared with flair, making it the ideal spot for a night of romance.

7. Onella, Naxxar

12. de Mondion, Mdina

If you wish to impress your date with a mesmerising and romantic view this is the way to go. Located on top of the silent and fortified city of Mdina at the historic Xara Palace, ‘de Mondion’ is the only Maltese restaurant in La Liste's Top 1000 restaurants worldwide.

13. Chatterbox, St Paul’s Bay

If you wish for more relaxed dining experience this Valentine’s Day, head down to Chatterbox, a Southeast Asian restaurant and cocktail bar uniquely located on the islet promenade in Bugibba. This is a place where you can enjoy Indian appetisers and Tandoor platters as well as exotic cocktails.
